Make me an orchard - Allfarthing Primary

Did you know to make an orchard just takes five  fruit trees?! We love making orchards and this is our fourth so far. 

 

Allfarthing already had three fruit trees in their front playground, they also had a dead space with a playhouse that was out of bounds and rotten. They wanted somewhere for natural learning. A space where they may be able to have a fire or sit and have story time with the EYFS children.

 

There was already a lovely space under the trees that we opened up and worked with the school on incorporating into play, and we dug out more concrete to create a small berm with more fruit trees on.
