Playground oasis - Holy Trinity Primary

Our brief was to take a disused, but very visible, strip of land at the front of the school between the road and the playground and create areas for storytelling, reflection time and creative play with sensory planting and unique features to welcome the school community.

Over a long period of time we worked with the PTA and the school to get funding and a design in place that solved all their problems, rehoming parts of our show garden and creating a wildlife haven, seating areas and spaces for children who wanted to play or quiet time away from the adjacent playground.

Over the first year we helped maintain the space along with the gardening club and teachers and have recently left it in their care.
